Euchre: Never Pass
Privacy Policy
Effective 17 October 2026
Euchre: Never Pass plays on your device and works without a connection. Your statistics from finished games, your table settings, and your best quiz score can sync through your own iCloud account. The app has no ads, analytics SDKs, or separate app account.
What the app collects
The game does not send your gameplay or settings to us. There are no analytics, advertising, third-party SDKs, or custom crash-reporting services in the app. We operate no game server.
Connections
The single-player game plays without a connection and works in airplane mode. Its only connection is to Apple’s iCloud, to keep your statistics and settings the same on your devices, and only when you are signed in to iCloud. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, or notifications. System services such as device backups and optional diagnostics are separate from gameplay.
This policy covers the current single-player version. It will be updated before a version with online play is released.
Your statistics
When you finish a game, the app saves a short result: when the game started and finished, whether your team won, the final score, the two players on the winning team (“You” for you, and the names the game gave the others), whether Grandma played, the house rules, and counts such as hands played, the trump calls you made and how many your team made good, times you went alone and took all five tricks, and times your team was euchred. Your game in progress is not part of it.
If you are signed in to iCloud, these results, and the date of any reset, are stored in your own private iCloud database so your statistics are the same on your devices. We have no access to that database; Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy apply to it. If you are not signed in, your statistics stay on this device.
Reset Statistics hides the games played before the reset on all your devices; the results stay in your iCloud account. To remove them, delete the app’s data from your device’s iCloud storage settings. Deleting the app removes what it saved on the device.
What the app stores, and where
The app saves table settings on your device: scoring cards, house rules, Grandma and Pap, and Pap’s buzz. It also keeps your best Euchre Quiz score there, and whether you have seen the walkthrough. If you are signed in to iCloud, these are also kept in your own iCloud account so they are the same on your other devices; we have no access to them there, and Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy apply. It also saves one unfinished game, which stays on this device, including its deals, decisions, scores, hand number, and save time, so you can resume it. Starting a new game replaces that save; finishing the game removes it. Your statistics are saved on the device as well, and synced as described above. This data may also be included in device backups, depending on your backup settings.
Sharing a game summary
If you export or share a Game Summary PDF, it contains the game details you chose to share. Anyone who receives it can read it. The service you send it through has its own privacy practices.
What we can see
The app store provides aggregate download and sales information. Crash diagnostics may be available if you opt into sharing them through your device settings. If you email us, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to send.
Children
The single-player game has no chat, advertising, or way to contact other players. It does not ask players for personal information.
Gambling
There is none. Euchre: Never Pass has no wagering, no simulated gambling, and no purchasable chips or currency of any kind. Scoring is points to ten, as in the traditional card game.
Limits of these protections
No app, device, or online service can guarantee complete privacy, security, or protection against data loss. Device access, account security, backups, and the services you choose to use can affect what happens to your information. This policy describes the app’s practices; it is not a promise that unauthorized access or data loss is impossible. It does not limit any privacy or consumer rights you have under applicable law.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
